EL PASO, Texas (March 4, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $10,500 to three nonprofits in El Paso during its current giving round.
“These three organizations are very well deserving,” said Joe Riccillo, the Sundt Foundation’s Vice President and El Paso region board member. “They are constantly improving our community, and we are thrilled to help each of their causes.”
Kelly Center for Hunger Relief received a grant for $4,000. The organization provides resources to address food insecurities in El Paso County. The grant of $4,000 will provide food, program support, and tools for their clients to become permanently food secure.
The Reynolds Home is expecting to respond to the basic needs of 55 homeless families and the emergency needs of an additional 50 families this year. Their grant of $4,000 will provide funding for rental and utility assistance, job search assistance and more.
Big Brothers Big Sisters El Paso received $2,500 to help mentoring relationships that are proven to positively impact and support the lives of disadvantaged youth in the area.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local El Paso-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
