DALLAS (August 26, 2021) – During its quarterly giving round, the Sundt Foundation awarded $8,000 in grants to four nonprofits in the Metroplex.
“We’re so grateful for all the employee-owners here in north Texas that make giving these grants possible,” said Barbara Terry, the Sundt Foundation’s North Texas board member. “It’s inspiring to see the positive impact these organizations have within our community, and we’re happy to be a part of it.”
Each of the following organizations received $2,000.
The Art Station offers individual and group art therapy and community programs for children and adults.
MHMR Foundation will use its funding for their early childhood intervention plagiocephaly program to assist families in funding therapeutic devices for babies with plagiocephaly.
Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange provides food, clothing, financial assistance, and other vital necessities to people struggling with a limited income or recent emergency.
6 Stones Mission Network assists seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities and low-income households with home repairs.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
