TUCSON, Ariz. (August 13, 2021) – During its current giving round, the Sundt Foundation awarded grants to three Southern Arizona veteran nonprofits, Hero Support, Healing Arizona Veterans and Ayuda Smiles.
“This quarter, the foundation funded three separate organizations that assist disadvantaged adults,” said Rick Buchanan, Sundt Foundation Tucson board member. “The Tucson giving area is looking forward to working with these organizations and all other grantees to continue their essential work in the community.”
Other Southern Arizona nonprofits that received a grant include:
- Luke’s Home
- Turn Your Life Around, Inc.
- GAP Ministries
- Flowing Wells Educational Foundation
- Mercy Housing Southwest
The Foundation awards grants each quarter to local charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
