IRVINE, Calif. (March 31, 2020) – The Sundt Foundation has named Jim Householder as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, representing the Orange County and Greater LA giving area.
Householder serves as a project executive out of Sundt’s Irvine office. He has been an active member of the Sundt Foundation since starting with Sundt in 2018.
“I’m immensely proud to support the vibrant communities in which we work and live,” said Householder. “As a native Angeleno, having the opportunity to lead our Foundation members in giving back to the Greater Los Angeles area is an extremely rewarding experience.”
The Sundt Foundation Board of Directors is composed of 12 employee-owners, four appointed by the company and eight elected by the membership. The board convenes quarterly to approve grants based on recommendations made by employee-owner committees in each Sundt office.
Sundt’s purpose is to build environments where its clients, employee-owners and communities prosper. The Sundt Foundation was established by Sundt in 1999 to provide its employee-owners a means of creating and sharing prosperity for their communities. It provides financial support to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and adults. Primarily funded by contributions from Sundt employees and matching company dollars, the Foundation recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and passed the $10 million mark in grants awarded.

Today, its employee-owners remain dedicated to ensuring the well-being of others, donating generously to charitable causes and volunteering thousands of hours each year to help various local organizations achieve their missions.
