INFRASTRUCTURE FOR COMMUNITIES AND COMMERCE

Since our beginnings, Sundt has been constructing the infrastructure necessary for community growth and prosperity.

This is at the heart of our purpose: to build environments where our clients, employee-owners and communities prosper. It’s what drives our success on projects like the award-winning I-215 and Redwood Road project, recognized as a 2020 Best Project by Engineering News-Record, Mountain States and the 2019 Urban Highway Project of the Year by AGC Utah. We take pride in collaborating with our partners to accomplish big goals with bigger impacts, such as our sustainability goals at Salt Lake City New Water Reclamation Facility or providing job opportunities for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, like at ITD I-15 Fort Hall Interchange.

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

With our extensive self-perform capabilities, we maintain greater control over schedule, safety and quality. A standout example of Sundt’s expertise in planning, management and self-perform expertise is at our New Water Reclamation Facility for the Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities. Sundt is self-performing 50% of this project, including key scopes like concrete, excavation, site grading and utilities installation. This $528 million facility is one of the largest public works projects ever undertaken by Salt Lake City, and it has already crushed sustainability and milestone goals with over 99% of waste being diverted from landfills and recycled.

A TRUSTED PARTNER

Our reputation as a trusted partner is backed by our extensive resume of alternative delivery expertise and a culture of integrity and transparency through every step of the construction process. Our principles and ethics guide everything we do, including our relationships with our trade partners. With 1,500+ alternate delivery projects under our belt, we’ve seen how communication and collaboration are key to delivering projects that meet the needs of all stakeholders.

ENGAGED IN OUR COMMUNITY

Building prosperity for our communities is more than just the projects we build, it’s the positive impacts we can make to those most in need. Our teams are known for their engagement in the community and volunteer efforts. Since 2020, the Sundt Foundation’s Salt Lake City region has donated more than $74,000 to support disadvantaged adults and children. Each year, the Sundt Foundation awards approximately $1 million in grants to a diverse array of charitable organizations across the United States.
