Sundt Foundation Donates to Utah Veterans Alliance

 |  Press Release, Sundt Foundation

SALT LAKE CITY (January 4, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $3,500 to the Utah Veterans Alliance during its current giving round. The organization provides support in a multitude of areas to meet the needs of local veterans and raise awareness of their service.

“The Utah Veterans Alliance is very deserving of this grant, and we are more than happy to support their efforts,” said Jasen Bennie, the Sundt Foundation’s Salt Lake City region board member. “Veteran support can often be overlooked so we are glad to be able to assist this organization.”

The path for veterans to build a new life at home can be a very difficult and intimidating process. The nonprofit will use its grant to provide veterans assistance in a multitude of areas such as rent, food and repairs.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Salt Lake City-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
