Sundt Hires Kevin Graf in Dallas-Fort Worth

DALLAS (November 19, 2021) – Sundt Construction, Inc., added Kevin Graf as a project director in its Transportation Group in Dallas. In his new role, Graf will focus on the growth of Sundt’s government, flood control and transit markets across Texas.

“Kevin will be a key member for our team as we grow,” said Joe Dooley, vice president and Texas regional manager for Sundt’s Transportation Group. “His wide range of experience in project types and delivery methods will be a huge asset to our team.”

Graf brings 16 years of heavy civil construction experience to his new role at Sundt. Previously, he served as a project manager on a $40 million dam project in Lewisville, Texas and a $73 million dam project in Houston, Texas. Graf has worked on numerous design-build projects. His experience includes a significant highway project in Dallas-Fort Worth, toll roads in Austin, and light rail transit in Houston.

“I am excited to hit the ground running,” said Graf. “Sundt is a national leader in alternative delivery methods on heavy civil projects, and I look forward to bringing my expertise to the table and working with key clients in Texas. ”

Graf started his construction career as a field engineer on a tollway project in Austin. He has held numerous positions including field engineer, project engineer, design-build project coordinator, construction engineering manager and project manager.  Graf earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his professional engineer license in 2012.

In Texas, Sundt has 50 years and $3 billion of project experience, with offices in San Antonio, Dallas and El Paso. The company is currently working on the San Pedro Creek Improvements, the Broadway Street improvements in downtown San Antonio and the massive I-10 Connect project in El Paso. Early next year, the firm will kick off its work on the 183 North Mobility project in Austin, Texas.
