Sundt Foundation Donates $10,000 to Northern California Charities

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (August 12, 2021) – During its most recent quarterly grant cycle, the Sundt Foundation awarded $10,000 in grants to two northern California nonprofits.

“We were grateful to have a prosperous quarter and award grants to two deserving nonprofits,” said Madison Jones, Sundt Foundation President and Northern California regional board member. “Both CASA Sacramento and Big Brothers Big Sisters bring valuable support to the northern California community.”

Each nonprofit received a $5,000 grant.

CASA Sacramento trains and supports volunteers from the community to advocate for abused and neglected children who need representation in the family court system, striving to provide them a safe and permanent home.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sacramento supports youth living under the poverty line by providing a mentor to support their educational, emotional, and mental well-being.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Northern California charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
