Sundt Promotes Five in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 26, 2021) – Sundt Construction, Inc., promoted Howard Atkinson, Jose Sandoval, Noah Holt, Robert Petrakovitz and Tanner Rose in its Sacramento office.

“Howdy, Jose, Noah, Rob and Tanner have all been instrumental members of Sundt,” said Jim Larrieu, Vice President and Northern California Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group. “Their promotions show their commitment to developing their skills and bringing value to all of our clients.”

In his new position of virtual construction manager, Atkinson will oversee all virtual construction across California. Since starting at Sundt in 2006 as a building information modeler, he has worked on numerous projects in the State. He is a Revit architecture professional and holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from California State University, Chico.

Sandoval, promoted to senior project engineer, has been with Sundt for six years and has held the role of project engineer and field engineer on multiple projects. Currently, he is working on The Ridge at Paradise Valley Estates.

Promoted to field superintendent, Holt joined Sundt four years ago. Since then, he has worked on multiple projects, including his current role on the new Oroville Hospital expansion. Holt holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from California State University, Sacramento.

A 22-year construction industry veteran, Petrakovitz will serve as a senior project superintendent. He has been instrumental in Sundt’s projects on the Sacramento State campus. Petrakovitz is a LEED accredited professional, and OSHA 30 certified.

Promoted to project engineer, Rose joined Sundt in 2018. Before his promotion, he worked as a field engineer on both the Avesta Dublin and Hamilton Hill projects. Rose holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Arizona State University.

Sundt continues to enhance Northern California; currently, the company is building the Hornet Commons adjacent to the Sacramento State campus, the new Shasta County Courthouse in Redding and the new five-story wing at the Oroville Hospital with joint venture partner Modern Building, Inc. In the Bay Area, the company is working on the Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant and New Headworks Facility and constructing a senior living property for Avesta in Novato.  Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project experience throughout the state of California.
