Sundt Foundation Donates to Needs Beyond Medicine

SALT LAKE CITY (May 21, 2021) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $3,500 to Needs Beyond Medicine during its quarterly giving round.

“It’s rewarding to see organizations like Needs Beyond Medicine working to improve the lives of those who are dealing with the reality of cancer treatment,” said Jasen Bennie, Sundt Foundation board member. “This donation shows our employee-owners’ belief in giving back to the community we live and work in.”

At Needs Beyond Medicine, its mission is to mitigate cancer disparities by supporting cancer patients’ needs outside of treatment. The relief program provides grants to cancer patients and their families in the most challenging financial situations.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Salt Lake City-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners. Salt Lake City nonprofits are encouraged to visit http://www.sundtfoundation.org/ and apply by June 15 for the next grant cycle.
