Sundt Promotes Three in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (November 20, 2020) – Sundt Construction, Inc., has promoted Bryant Fulton to assistant project manager, Tim Warnes to field superintendent and Justin McCapes to lead estimator in its Sacramento office.

“Bryant, Tim and Justin have all shown great leadership and are well deserving of their promotions,” said Jim Larrieu, Vice President and Northern California Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group. “Their knowledge of the construction industry will help Sundt continue to serve our clients and communities while growing within the region.”

Since joining Sundt in 2013, Fulton has served as a project engineer and estimator.  He recently worked on the award-winning Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex on the California State University (CSU), Sacramento campus, and is currently part of the Hornet Commons project adjacent to the campus. He earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from CSU, Chico.

Warnes has been with Sundt for seven years and has held the role of project engineer and field engineer on multiple Sacramento projects.  He is a Design-Build Professional, Associate Contractor and holds a Certificate of Mastery from the Design-Build Institute of America and is OSHA 30 certified. Warnes earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

McCapes joined Sundt over eight years ago as a field engineer at a University of California, Davis student housing project. An 18-year veteran of the industry, he manages preconstruction efforts for multiple projects in Northern California, including Hornet Commons in Sacramento.  McCapes holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from CSU, Sacramento, and is OSHA 30 certified.

Sundt continues to enhance Northern California; currently, the company is building the Hornet Commons adjacent to the Sacramento State campus, the new Shasta County Courthouse in Redding and the new five-story wing at the Oroville Hospital. In the Bay Area, the company is working on the Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant and New Headworks Facility and constructing a senior living property for Avesta in Novato.  Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project experience throughout the state of California.
