SALT LAKE CITY (November 10, 2020) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $3,500 to two local Salt Lake City organizations during its fourth quarter giving round.
“For our employee-owners to know they are supporting organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Boys & Girls Club, goes directly back to the purpose of the Foundation,” said Dustin Murphy, Sundt Foundation board member.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society received $2,500 to provide services and support for medical treatment. They serve disadvantaged adults and children by providing emotional support groups, informational resources and financial aid to help with travel assistance, urgent needs and patient aid funding.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake, which received $1,000, makes a difference in children’s lives through their youth development programs. Their activities are focused on health and life skills, fine and performing arts, character and leadership, education and career, teens, sports, and fitness.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Salt Lake City-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
