TEMPE, Ariz. (August 21, 2020) – Sundt Construction, Inc. promoted Curtis Smith to project manager in its Tempe office.

Smith has been in the construction industry for over 15 years, five of those with Sundt. He has been involved in multiple projects within the Southwest region and is currently working on the Sunstate training facility in downtown Phoenix.
Smith’s career in construction started in the Arizona Army National Guard as a heavy equipment operator. Once with Sundt, he served as an area quality manager, estimator, preconstruction manager and assistant project manager. Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from Arizona State University.
Sundt has over 90 years of experience in Arizona, with offices in Tempe, Tucson and Phoenix. The company ranks in the top five of ENR Southwest’s top contractors. Sundt recently completed the Gilbert Road Light Rail Extension, Ocotillo Water Reclamation Facility and the Ina Road and I-10 Traffic Interchange.
