 |  Press Release, Sundt Foundation

SALT LAKE CITY (August 13, 2020) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $2,500 to Mercy Housing Mountain Plains during its third-quarter disbursements.

“We’re happy to see the Sundt Foundation’s presence grow within the Salt Lake area,” said Dustin Murphy, Sundt Foundation board member. “Our employee-owners hope to continue to support their local communities where we live and work.”

Mercy Housing Mountain Plains provides affordable housing, after-school support, health education and other services to low-income families. They have seen an increased need from the COVID-19 pandemic, including access to their onsite food pantry and increased efforts to support at-home engagement activities, crafts and social-emotional learning activities.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Salt Lake City-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
