Sundt Expands El Paso Team

EL PASO (Nov. 18, 2015) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently expanded its El Paso team, adding Larry Luke, area manager, and Jason Esparza, senior project manager.

Luke brings more than 27 years of industry experience to his new position. Prior to joining Sundt, he spent 25 years with one of the nation’s leading general contractors, where he acquired extensive experience in large-scale, alternate delivery projects. In his role at Sundt, Luke manages the advancement of the general contractor’s strategic growth throughout the greater El Paso area by overseeing existing projects and procuring new work in the region.

Esparza, a Texas construction industry veteran of more than 13 years, joins Sundt after working more than seven years with one of the nation’s largest construction companies, based in Houston. He brings with him an extensive background in heavy civil construction and has worked on projects totaling more than $500 million. Esparza has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.

A prominent general contractor in the Southwest, Sundt has deep roots along the Texas-New Mexico border that date back to 1890, when the company was first established. Since then, Sundt has completed many notable projects in the region, including the Interstate 10 Enhancements in El Paso, Texas;  Fort Bliss Multipurpose Machine Gun Range in Dona Ana, New Mexico; Las Cruces High School renovations in Las Cruces, New Mexico; Fort Bliss Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing Barracks in Fort Bliss, Texas; Union Pacific Rail Yard in Santa Teresa, New Mexico; and James P. Butler Elementary School in El Paso, Texas.
