TEMPE, Ariz. (May 28, 2014) – The Sundt Foundation has named three new officers and two new members to its board of directors. Jacque Hoppes, a project administrator in the company’s San Diego office and former vice president of the foundation, stepped up as president for the coming year. She replaces outgoing president Tom Camden, a senior project estimator in the Sacramento office. Andrew Apostolik, a group engineer in Tempe, will serve a one-year term as vice president. Additionally, Dan Haag, chief administrative officer, replaced Richard Condit as corporate board member. Haag will also serve as executive director for the coming year.

Meanwhile, Allison Rowland, a marketing proposal specialist in Sacramento and Lorena Maltos, an administrative assistant in San Antonio, were elected to the board.

The Sundt Foundation was established by Sundt in 1999 to give its employee-owners a means of giving back to their communities. It provides financial support to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and adults. Primarily funded by contributions from Sundt employees and company matching, the Foundation recently surpassed the $6 million mark in grants awarded since its inception.

The Sundt Foundation Board of Directors is composed of twelve employee-owners, four appointed by the company and eight elected by the membership. The board convenes quarterly to approve grants based on recommendations made by employee committees in each Sundt officiate on funding allocation.

Sundt recognizes the importance of community giving. Today, its employees remain dedicated to ensuring the well-being of others, donating generously to charitable causes and volunteering thousands of hours each year to help various local organizations achieve their missions. For many employees, the Sundt Foundation is the principal way by which they give back to the communities they call home.
