Biography

Ron Stuff’s construction experience spans more than 40 years. He currently serves as Sundt’s chief legal officer, chief ethics and compliance officer and corporate secretary.  Ron is a member of Sundt’s executive management team and sits on The Sundt Companies’ Board of Directors. He leads the company’s legal department and is responsible for all corporate legal matters.

Ron was in private practice for 12 years before moving in-house with an international engineering, procurement and construction company. He has been recognized in construction law by Chambers USA, Who’s Who of Construction Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America® and has a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of “AV Preeminent®” representing the agency’s highest ethical rating.

Ron was named the Arizona Corporate Counsel of the Year in 2017.  In 2020, he was elected a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers. He is a frequent author and speaker on construction topics, including corporate leadership, dispute resolution and risk management.

Ron graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with highest honors. He worked for several years as both a field engineer and structural designer before attending Harvard Law School.
