How To Apply for a Grant

Non-profit organizations wishing to be considered for funding must first complete and submit a Grant Application. (If you cannot download this version or the PDF version that appears on this site, you may request a printed copy by writing to the Foundation at this address.) The completed application, along with a list of current board members and a copy of the organization's 501(c)(3) tax exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service, must then be sent to the Sundt Foundation office.

The requested gift must address one of the following two areas:

  • Children's Issues
  • Community Improvement

Grant requests must be at least $1,000 but not more than $10,000.

Committees, made up of employees who live and work in the cities where Sundt has an established office, review grant requests and make recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Board meets quarterly to review and act on grant requests, and conduct other Foundation business.

The form must be completed and on file before a new grant request can be considered.
