A recent example of our work in this area is the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University, which was designed with specially constructed, high-tech labs for cutting-edge biotechnology research in areas that include immunology, vaccine development, molecular biophysics, protein pharmaceuticals, nanoscale bio-optics, and molecular diagnostics. Another recent project was the Arizona State University Interdisciplinary Science Technology Building 4, which included a laboratory space component to contain 166 lab modules with both wet and dry labs and a rooftop laboratory.
