The Social Sciences and Management Building project on the UC Merced campus consists of a three-story, 101,000-square-foot classroom, office, and dry research building with a cast-in-place concrete structural system, along with associated underground utilities and site development work (landscape and hardscape). The exterior of the building consists of cast-in-place architectural concrete, metal siding over light framing, glazing, exterior cement plaster, and metal sunshades.
