This new school built for the Tucson Unified School District incorporates innovative learning concepts that significantly alter traditional education design. The campus was designed around the tenets of “21st Century Learning.” Sundt constructed seven buildings totaling 113,000 square feet on a 25-acre site, as well as off-site improvement work that included construction of a new, signalized traffic intersection. The state-of-the-art campus accommodates 950 students in Learning Communities organized around a central courtyard space.
