Construction of HomeStore’s primary Data Center in the former Verizon (POP) site. The space consists of 5,000 square feet of raised floor, and remaining space to support the raised floor area. Construction took place within an existing three-story building; the data center is located on the first floor. Mechanical systems consisted of CRAC unit cooling with Rooftop Heat Rejection units developing N+1 mechanical configuration. Electrical systems consisted of a single service entrance section supplying 2N configuration electrical system with UPS backup and ATS supplying two 800kW backup generator power. The 800kW units were installed in a footprint of former 750kW generator and fuel systems. In addition, beam support was added for overhead cable tray routing and distribution system in the raised access floor area to compensate for existing inadequate second floor substructure/framing.
