Three separate contracts were performed for the City of Austin's Aviation Department at Austin Bergstrom International Airport. The work included construction of a 9,000-foot runway, several taxiways and two holding aprons; constructing a new apron, four lead-in taxiways and deicing facilities for the terminal building; and the construction of the State Pooling Board apron and taxiways. These projects included extensive demolition of the existing runway, excavation, storm drain piping, box culvert construction and concrete paving.
