TEMPE  (Feb. 15, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. recently added Sarah Philippe to its business development team for the company’s Southwest District Building Group.404993_Philippe_Sarah_proposalid

Philippe provides support to the district’s project executives, project directors and regional directors in client engagement and community relations. She has experience in business, marketing, event planning and customer relations.

“Sarah brings an unbelievable passion for our community, for people, for connecting the two. We’re a better company with Sarah part of it,” said Ryan Abbott, Sundt Senior Vice President and Southwest District Manager.

Prior to joining Sundt, Philippe was the Senior Development Manager, Distinguished Events for the American Cancer Society (ACS) in Phoenix. At ACS, she led the planning and execution of annual fundraising events, including the Picnic Under the Stars gala, the Rising Star of the Year campaign and The Big Dig in the Desert.

It was Philippe’s work on The Big Dig in the Desert event that introduced her to Sundt.

“Because Sundt is an annual sponsor of the event, I had the opportunity to work with previous CEO Dave Crawford and attend meetings at the Sundt office,” Philippe said. “I met amazing people in that time, and they inspired me to work for Sundt when the opportunity presented itself.”

Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arizona.
