EL PASO, Tex. (June 8, 2016) – The Housing Authority of the City of El Paso has selected Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for two residential projects totaling $56 million.
The projects include the renovation of four high-rise communities and the demolition and construction of two low-rise affordable housing communities, totaling 1,200 units. The new units will be converted via the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program.
Design phases are underway for both projects, with construction expected to begin this summer and continue into mid-2018.
