Sundt Sacramento Office Hires Six

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (January 14, 2019) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added six to its Building Group, California District. Dinesh Alluri, Jordan Alves, Nathan Davis, Satvinder Singh, Gregory Thomas, and Jon Rennan join the Sacramento office.

“As our region continues to grow, it’s important to expand our teams with the right people,” said Ed Segovia, Vice President and Sacramento Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group. “All six of our new employee-owners will bring a tremendous amount of skill and experience that will add value to our existing high-performing teams.”

Alluri joins Sundt as an estimator with six years of experience. He arrives from Chicago, Ill., where he served as a project engineer in the estimating unit. Alluri’s market involvement includes office, senior living, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, government and residential. He holds a master’s degree in construction management from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

Alves will serve as a field engineer. Most recently, he spent a year at SpaceX, as a launch site engineer intern. His skillset includes project engineering and estimating. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo last June with a degree in construction management and minors in architectural engineering and property development.

Davis brings over 10 years of experience to his new role as a virtual construction engineer. In his immediate past position, he directed project trade coordinating. Davis has skills in various project markets including healthcare, hospitality, education, government and mixed use. A native of Elk Grove, Calif., he is a graduate of California State University, Chico.

Singh arrives at Sundt after serving as an engineer for a local engineering firm. In his new role as estimator, he brings experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, as well as RISA-3D and MathCAD. In his previous role, he created project plans in Deltek Vision, as well as performed Civil 3D grading, cost estimating and quantities takeoff. Singh holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from California State University, Chico.

Thomas joins Sundt as a project safety manager. Bringing nearly 13 years of experience to his new role, he has worked in various market sectors as a safety manager including energy and gas projects. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Nicholls State University in petroleum service engineering and safety management.

Rennan joins Sundt as the area safety manager. He spent over 20 years in a similar role for another local contractor. He brings a proven record of continuous safety improvement, customer service, and improving working environments. Rennan holds a master’s degree in industrial safety and a bachelor’s in sociology, both from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. A former Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, he earned the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service.

Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project experience throughout the state of California. The company has offices in Sacramento, Irvine and San Diego. Sundt is currently building the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex on the Sacramento State campus and recently broke ground on two senior living communities in Northern California.
