Sundt Promotes Two Team Members in New Orange County Office

IRVINE, Calif. (March 20, 2013) – Sundt Construction, Inc. recently promoted two team members, Garrett Whitfield and David Peyton, in its new Orange County office.

Whitfield, who is currently working on the Santa Monica High School Science and Technology Building project, was promoted to senior project engineer from his previous role as project engineer. He joined Sundt in 2010 and has worked on various projects throughout California, including Willow Elementary School in Agoura Hills, Ritz Carlton Hotel and Residences in Los Angeles and San Francisco General Hospital. Whitfield earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Also working on the Santa Monica High School Science and Technology Building project,

Peyton was promoted to project engineer and moved from Sundt’s federal division to join the Irvine team. He earned a Bachelor of Science in construction management from Colorado State University and Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He is also an Associate Constructor and affiliated with the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), Construction Management Association of America, Design Build Institute of America and Society of American Military Engineers.
