Sundt Foundation Donates to Local Charity
SALT LAKE CITY (March 14, 2019) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $2,500 to Utah Youth Village to support their group homes.
The organization continues to change the lives of troubled children by offering therapeutic foster homes and group homes for young victims of abuse and neglect. With care, their lives are stabilized, and they learn essential living skills to overcome their prior life and succeed in school, alongside peers and in a family setting. The organization is able to make lasting change in children’s behaviors and mental health using the proven method of the Teaching-Family Model.
“The Salt Lake City Sundt Foundation committee believes in giving back to the community where we live and work,” said Dustin Murphy, Sundt Foundation region board member. “It’s great to be able to support an organization like Utah Youth Village in their mission to heal and elevate lives.”
The Sundt Foundation awards grants quarterly to area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
