Sundt Foundation Awards $4,000 To Local Nonprofit

EL PASO (Dec. 9, 2013) – Sundt Construction, Inc.‘s El Paso employees have selected local nonprofit organization El Paso’s Miracle League, Inc. to receive a Sundt Foundation grant totaling $4,000 this quarter.

El Paso’s Miracle League, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides children with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league, will use the grant to pay for expenses, including umpire fees and field lighting.

The Sundt Foundation provides financial support to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and adults. Most grants are made to organizations in the communities where Sundt has offices and construction projects. The Foundation is funded primarily by contributions from Sundt employees and company matching. To date, the organization has awarded more than $5 million in donations to organizations throughout Texas, Arizona, California and beyond.

Sundt has a history of more than 40 years and $1 billion of project work throughout the Lone Star State. Among the general contractor’s notable Texas projects are the West Seventh Street Bridge, Fort Worth; Warrior in Transition Barracks at Fort Bliss, Fort Sam Houston and Fort Hood; Reunion Tower, Dallas; Legacy Town Centers, Plano; the Department of Aviation, Austin; and the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) 911 Dispatch Center, San Antonio.
