Sundt Hires Peterson as Field Engineer, Promotes Riess to Business Development Representative

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2013) – Sundt Construction, Inc. has hired a project engineer and promoted a business development specialist in its San Diego office.

Project Engineer Stacey Peterson will be responsible for the technical aspects of specific construction projects in Southern California, including the San Diego International Airport Landside Modifications project. With 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Peterson joins Sundt after working as an independent architectural project manager since 2009. His experience includes project management and technician positions at several architecture and engineering firms. Peterson holds an Associate of Occupational Studies in architectural drafting/CAD technology/business systems from High-Tech Institute in Phoenix.

Jeannie Riess was promoted to the position of business development representative from her former role as a business development administrator. She will pursue new business opportunities for the general contractor’s San Diego and Irvine offices, and implement overall marketing strategies within the region. Riess holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from San Diego State University and has been with Sundt for four years.
