Sundt Adds Two Employee-Owners to Salt Lake City Office

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Mar. 24 2017) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) welcomes Sheldon Astle and Thiago Bezerra to its Salt Lake City office.

Astle joins Sundt as Chief Estimator for transportation projects. He will lead preconstruction and estimating efforts in Utah and throughout the Intermountain Region.

Astle previously served as lead estimator for the I-15 Point project; senior estimator, project controls manager and preconstruction services manager for the first Mountain View Corridor Project ($245 million); and project manager for the $19 million Red Cloud at Deer Valley Ski Resort in Park City, Utah.

He served two years as a full-time volunteer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and continues to be actively involved with the church. He graduated from California State University – Sacramento with a degree in construction management.

Bezerra joins Sundt as a Project Manager/Estimator for transportation projects. His experience is primarily in large alternate delivery projects. Previous major projects include the $2.2 billion Eagle P3 Commuter Rail Project in Denver and the $1.1 billion I-15 CORE Project for Utah County.

Bezerra volunteers with Boy Scouts of America, United Way and Habitat for Humanity. He has a construction management degree from Utah Valley University.
