Sundt Adds Five in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (March 8, 2019) – Terry McCallister, Travis McDonald, Christopher Lundgren, Rob Schofield and Don Speedie have joined Sundt Construction’s Sacramento office.

“We’ve recently broken ground on several projects in Northern California,” said Dan Dumke, Senior Vice President and California District Manager for Sundt’s Building Group. “As our field needs increase, so does our need for more employee-owners. All five of the recent additions bring excellent skill and experience to their projects.”

McCallister will join the project team at The Ridge – Paradise Valley Estates as a field superintendent. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. A skilled tradesman, McCallister has worked on numerous commercial and residential projects across Sacramento County.

McDonald will join the team at the Shasta County Courthouse project as a field superintendent. He brings over a decade of experience as a foreman and carpenter on both commercial and residential construction. McDonald has received several certifications including OSHA 30.

Lundgren brings two decades of experience to his new role as field superintendent. He will join the team on the Avesta Residences at Dublin project. His experience extends to both commercial and residential markets.

A Bay Area native, Schofield will join the team at the Shasta County Courthouse project in Redding, California, as an engineer. He brings over five years of experience as a project engineer. Schofield earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Fresno State University.

Speedie joins Sundt’s operations on a project in the Bay Area. He has over 20 years of experience and has delivered on projects totaling over $300 million in value. He was trained in building engineering technology at British Columbia Institute of Technology in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project experience throughout the state of California. The company has offices in Sacramento, Irvine and San Diego. Sundt is currently building the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex on the Sacramento State campus and recently broke ground on the Avesta Residences at Dublin in the Bay Area.
