Sundt Adds Employee-Owners Weckar and Ahn in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas (October 19, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added Brent Weckar and Jae Ahn to the company’s Building Group, Texas District.

“Adding Brent and Jae to our team will give us an extra boost as we start on two new projects in the Metroplex,” said Eric Hedlund, Senior Vice President and Texas District Manager for Sundt’s Building Group. “Both bring experience that will help us build projects safely while delivering excellent results for our clients.”

Weckar brings over 18 years of experience in the construction industry. He will serve as the Senior Project Manager for the Arlington Southeast Recreation Center project. Weckar has successfully managed projects in numerous sectors and has experience in all aspects of the project lifecycle. He has worked in various market sectors including commercial, public and education over his career. Weckar earned his degree in engineering from Texas Tech University.

Ahn will join a project in Denton, Texas as Senior Project Engineer. He joins Sundt with four years of experience managing scopes of work to ensure project coordination is in compliance with contracts. Ahn’s experience includes work on hospitality and commercial buildings. He holds a dual bachelor’s in architectural engineering and architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, and he is a LEED® Accredited Professional.

Sundt has 50 years and nearly $3 billion of project work throughout Texas with offices in Fort Worth, Irving, El Paso and San Antonio.
