Aliso Hall

Making clients happy and gaining repeat work is important in any industry. At Sundt, we value our customers and appreciate the opportunity to meet their expectations when we have the opportunity.

We are fortunate to have earned a solid and trustworthy relationship with California State University Channel Islands, where we recently completed a $2.4 million laboratory renovation at Aliso Hall.

Designed to accommodate the needs of the university’s biology and chemistry departments, the design-build project included installation and reconfiguration of casework, fume hoods, mechanical and electrical systems, and equipment within four existing dry laboratories inside Aliso Hall.

The renovation is one of three projects we have been contracted to build on the Channel Islands campus. We also completed the campus’s Sierra Hall Classroom and Laboratory building and are constructing the university’s Santa Rosa Village student housing complex, which is expected to be completed later this year.

“We were very pleased that our work on the university’s Sierra Hall led to this opportunity to renovate the Aliso Hall labs,” said Sundt Vice President Robert Stokes. “Our team proved that we could fast-track this project in time for the spring semester, and we followed through, delivering the project in just eight months.”

Established in 2002 and located in Camarillo, Channel Islands is the newest of 23 campuses in the California State University system.
