We are proud to announce that the Coast Community College District in Costa Mesa, California recently selected Sundt as the construction manager  for a new $24 million Student Services Center at the district’s Golden West Campus in Huntington Beach. As the district’s construction manager, Sundt will oversee, coordinate and direct construction activities during the pre-construction, bidding, construction and post-construction phases of the project.

Once completed, the 50,000-square-foot facility, designed by tBP Architecture, Inc., will consolidate the college’s multiple departments into a centralized, one-stop location in the center of campus. The project, which is expected to break ground in early 2016, celebrates the college’s 50th anniversary and reflects the district’s commitment to providing exceptional service to its students.

“Our team’s experience with similar projects and overall project approach from pre-construction to close-out played a significant role in our selection for this project,” said Sundt Project Director John Messick.

This is Sundt’s second project for the Coast Community College District; construction is currently wrapping up on the Orange Coast College Interdisciplinary Complex.
