Approximately 20 middle and high school students were given a tour of the Las Cruces High School project site as part of the architecture camp.

What could be better than visiting a real construction site when you’re a kid planning to enter the construction industry some day? A group of middle and high school students from Dona Ana Community College’s Architecture Discovery Camp in Las Cruces, New Mexico got to do just that earlier this month. Outfitted in hard hats and safety vests, the 20 or so students followed Sundt Project Superintendent Brian Higgins on a site walk through Las Cruces High School, where Sundt and joint venture partner Wooten Construction are performing a $36 million K-12 education construction project that includes a 110-foot-long pedestrian bridge.
