If you like to golf while raising money for a good cause, we have just the thing. The Mike Gaines Charitable Fundraising Events – organized by the Sundt Foundation and held each year in Tucson, Phoenix, San Diego, Sacramento and San Antonio – raise money for organizations that support research to treat and cure Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. These include the ALS Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The events are also a ton of fun, thanks to the turnout of hundreds of Sundt employees, family members, industry associates, and the occasional celebrity or two.

This year marks the 14th anniversary of the events, which were created in 2001 to honor longtime Sundt employee Mike Gaines, who died of ALS in 2002. More than $1.2 million have since been raised in Mike’s name for the cause he came to care so much about.

Now is the perfect time to sign up for one or more of this year’s golf tournaments. To register, or for more information, contact Aly Gartin at ajgartin@sundt.com, or (520) 750-4702.
