In 2013, Sundt was again inducted into the Minority Business Development & Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Million Dollar Circle of Excellence. The honor recognizes Sundt’s continuous effort to take subcontractor diversity to the next level by exceeding contractual requirements for subcontracting dollars toward diverse small businesses.

“This prestigious recognition is only awarded to selective contractors that have a quantifiable process in place,” said Marian Enriquez, Sundt’s Director of Employee-Owner Experience and Diversity. “It demonstrates how we are making a positive difference by actively engaging in business partnerships with the various small business communities. Sundt takes pride in being the contractor of choice, and we appreciate being recognized in this way by the various minority associations.”

Minority business development is an important element of Sundt’s culture. As part of its commitment to small businesses, Sundt awarded 33 percent of its subcontracting dollars to small businesses nationwide during 2013 – far above our internal goal of 20 percent.
