The Heavy Civil Division is an industry leader in the construction of difficult and challenging infrastructure projects. Innovative thinking and approaches to projects has led to numerous national and local industry awards. The Heavy Civil Division serves the needs of both public and private clients in the Pacific and Southwestern United States, and in other select geographical areas.
Experience in the transportation sector includes highways, bridges, streets, and airfield facilities. The Division also constructs dams, drainage facilities, and pumping stations. The Division's extensive underground experience and expertise includes water transmission and distribution lines, large fiber optic communication installations, large and small sanitary sewer systems, as well as other underground utilities. Projects range in size from $50,000 to $200 million.
The Division serves its clients through a variety of contracting methods, including design-build, construction manager at risk, and general contracting. The Heavy Civil Division is well known for the high quality of its work and excellent safety record. These achievements result from self-performing the majority of the work with a workforce that is part of a 100% employee owned company.
